Patch 1.13 Diablo 2 Status Update 06.30.2009
The initial announcement of Diablo 2 "content patch" 1.13 that was due to come out was shelved due to an unforeseen problem with Warcraft 3 that allowed hackers to spread malignant software through the downloading system incorporated into the Custom Maps.
This news made quite an uproar and was met with speculation amongst the community, but Bashiok has finally spoken out about the status and development of Patch 1.13. As the Warcraft 3 patch is on PTR and will be released soon, a new PTR will be created for Diablo 2, so never fear.

Well if you didn't notice last week we missed it. I happened to be getting ready for a trip that I can't say too much about quite yet, but we are getting back on track this week with some more artwork from Odonthe1st.

The Overthrown Statue 06.19.2009
Several months ago Bashiok had revealed plans for a limited edition statue that Diablo III fans could order in the near future. The statue is finally finished and it looks awesome. They are now taking pre-orders of this massive statue here.

The Diablo III premium statue "Overthrown" depicts a mighty barbarian atop the conquered Diablo, shouting towards the High Heavens in vicious triumph. It was first unveiled as a grey prototype at San Diego Comic-Con 2008, and after a year and a half of continued development, is now being made available for pre-order.
Standing at a massive 18" (457.2mm) high, hand-cast in high-quality polystone, and painted to exacting standards, each piece is individually finished with a unique edition number. If I had the 200 dollars to drop on this awesome statue, I would. A lot of work went into this statue and the finished product is flawless. This is definitely a Diablo collector's gem.
