Todays Nooner is of yours truly throwing down with a Mr Robot. Robot is a random player who rolled Protoss for this match up. The game isn't a long but I had some fun being sneaky and trying a different unit combination out vs Toss. At the time of this game (last weekend) Robot was ranked number 1 in Gold.

very awesome game. Visser, the toss were thinking that he was amassing an army himself. He couldn't see Joe, so he didn't know he was wide open. If the toss had tried to attack early, he would be taking a big risk himself of losing the first battle. The time it takes to travel that far would have given Joe a larger army (if he had indeed been building one early on).
Still, very nice game. Awesome strats Joe - getting high-yield expansion, hydra-hiding, and unit-drop. kudos.
What's cool about that map is that there is a scouting station about half way between the two bases. Far enough way to build a few spine crawlers if one were to be rushed with 7 zealots ;)
I'll try to get a game where someone rushes the hell outa me when I am trying something crazy.
The Protoss was denied scouting early on, so JoeOrange took a gamble and fast expanded allowing him to pull off this stunt. Calculated risk paid off, and gg I reckon! :D
Okay, just got to say. There is no way that Protoss is who you said he was.
That was a pathetic strategy he employed. And the only reason you won is he NEVER early game attacked.
Your entire early game defense and strat was 6 lings and massive teching. You noe what freaking PWNS that? like 7 zealots. GG you woulda died.
