Today's Daily Nooner is a Zerg Vs Terran Matchup. I have been having a lot of trouble fending off early game M&M's as zerg. So I decided to just start trying random strats until I found something that worked. In this match I try I very early expansion (like my first building built is a hatchery). My opponent found it early of course and proceeded to rush M&Ms :D. This is kind of an entertaining match. This game was an exercise and covering my ass for trying something very risky / stupid.
The early expansion was probably not my best idea to try this on a 1v1 map, but hey I did it, and had to live with it. I may as well share my terrible decision making with you guys :D
Since this game I have gotten a pretty good build / strat for down for vs the infamous M&M&M rush (Marines, Marauders, and Medivacs) thanks to top Terran Platinum man Endrick. We had a few discussions on the matter and he dropped a few "I hate it when Zerg does this". I am working on a strat article / video that should help lay out the basics behind the build.
Just to note, I use to go lings / roaches, while teching to Hydras vs M&M&M's with little problem, but with the nurf to Zerg that strategy no longer seems to work. It was a great big "back to the drawing board" after the initial 8 game losing streak hehe.

LOL, for a second when the queen first showed up, I thought she shat out zerglings, I was like OMGWTF?? then I realized how stupid I was being.

LoL! I can laugh at this now, but I was sweating while this was going on.
This was my Nooner replay to Visser's comment to the last match of myself. Zerg have an uncanny knack for pulling out a ton of units really fast.
Awesome job there, Joe! I tip my hat to you. It was smoking good that you went for his main straight away, and that Hellion luring was awesome too :D
What I find funny is that he actually did the "YO DAWG I HEARD YOU LIKE BASES SO I BUILD A BASE IN YOUR BASE SO YOU CAN BASE WHILE I BASE" thing.
